Anne Olek RN, MSN, FNP-BC, CFCP, CFCE Anne is a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Creighton Model FertilityCare Educator and Practitioner. She has been dedicated to teaching the Creighton Model System in Rochester, NY since 2001. Anne is an active member of the American Academy of FertilityCare Professionals and has served as their past Vice President of Ethics and Standards and Vice President of Planning and Development. She is also an active board member of the Finger Lakes Guild of the Catholic Medical Association. Anne is passionate about women understanding the beauty of their fertility and being an advocate for their own gynecological health. Anne is married to Christopher. They have three children and eight grandchildren and one rambunctious Labradoodle, named Fezzik. “A woman’s fertility is not a disease that needs to be suppressed or manipulated but a normal function of the human body that is a window to our whole health and wellbeing”. Alexandra Andrews RN, FCP Alexandra is a Creighton Model Fertility Care Practitioner and a Registered Nurse. She has been teaching the Creighton Model System since 2019 in the Leroy, NY area. With personal experience in the knowledge of fertility appreciation through Creighton FertilityCare, Alexandra is aware of the wonderful gifts this knowledge can bring to women, couples, and families. She is passionate in helping other women and couples discover the truth, goodness and the beauty of their fertility. Alexandra is a grateful wife and mother of three children who enjoys cooking and sharing meals with family and friends, long walks in the country and reading. Bernadette Palermo PA-C, CFCP Practices as a Certified Creighton FertilityCare Practitioner with the FertilityCare Center of Rochester, NY through In-person and Video visits. Bernadette is focused on teaching young women and couples the beauty of discovering Natural Reproductive Health through life sustaining scientific methods in the Catholic Tradition. Graduated from St. John Fisher College, BS Biology; Syracuse University MA, Nutrition; Albany Medical Physician Assistant Program; St. Pope Paul VI Institute, Certified Creighton Fertility Care Practitioner; FEMM Master Class Training. Family is very important! She and her husband Michael have 2 young adult twin sons. Bernadette loves to play pickle ball, bicycle ride, play with Bandit, the family Border Collie and share a meal or cup of tea with friends and family. Alicia Crete CFCE, CFCP Alicia's love for empowering women started in Human Embryology at Franciscan University in 2008. In 2010 she attended EPI in Omaha, and joined the Gianna Center medical practice in NYC. In 2014 she attended EPI as an Educator and began working with the National Gianna Center. Since 2017 Alicia has been the Co-Director of the Gianna Education Program hosting programs in NY state and in 2023 helped bring the first program to Lebanon. Since 2020 she has served the AAFCP as the Chair of the Commission on Certification and as the practice manager of the Gianna Center of CWNY. Danielle Hubbel FCPI Danielle Hubbel is a Certified Creighton FertilityCare Instructor with the FertilityCare Center of Rochester, NY. She also works for the Diocese of Rochester at St. Leo the Great Catholic Parish as the Director of Religious Education. Danielle received her Bachelor of Science in Communications Media at John Paul the Great Catholic University and her Master’s in Public Policy at Pepperdine University. Danielle has a passion for the Catholic Church’s teachings on human sexuality and bioethics. She is blessed with a beautiful marriage and two young sons. In her free time she enjoys playing piano, praying with her Catholic Moms Group, and baking sourdough! Elissa Sanchez-Speach MD, NFPMC Dr. Speach is a board-certified family physician. She received her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, followed by residency in family medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center, also in Syracuse. She received her undergraduate degree at Union College in Schenectady, and her master’s degree in the Natural Sciences at SUNY Buffalo@ Roswell Park Memorial Institute. Dr. Speach has practiced outpatient primary care in both group and solo practice. She also has experience in hospital medicine, nursing home/geriatric care, and correctional medicine. She currently has a telehealth practice and is the Department Chair of Family Medicine at My Catholic Doctor, PLLC. Dr. Speach is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the New York State Academy of Family Physicians. She is a founding member and past president of the Finger Lakes Guild of the Catholic Medical Association. In 2013 she completed training at Pope Paul VI Institute to become a Natural Family Planning Medical Consultant, which allowed her to incorporate NaProTechnology techniques into her primary care outpatient practice. She completed training as a FEMM medical consultant in 2021. Using these techniques, she has treated a variety of women’s health issues, including infertility, recurrent miscarriage, painful periods, PMS, ovarian cysts, abnormal bleeding, PCOS, and hormonal abnormalities, in a manner that is consistent with Catholic bioethical principles. She has been a strong advocate of fertility awareness-based methods of family planning to her patients and the lay and medical communities. Dr. Speach lives in Pittsford, NY, with her physician husband, and their German Shepherd, Bella. They have 4 adult children with growing families, who visit often enough to keep the house full! Angela Kristan MD, CFCMC Dr. Angela Kristan completed residency in family medicine and a geriatric medicine fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She completed a master’s in theological studies from the John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family. In an effort to bridge women’s health gaps she identified in medical education, she designed her own fertility awareness elective during residency that included training in NaProTechnology at the St. Paul VI Institute in Omaha, NE. Her commitment to offering a broad range of options to her patients continues to bear fruit, In 2020, she opened Gianna Medical of Central and Western NY, a small practice specializing in women’s gynecologic health and restorative reproductive medicine. She practices NaProTechnology, is trained in FEMM, and promotes fertility awareness. |
