The Creighton Model System is a service program that teaches women/couples about their natural reproductive cycles so they can be an advocate for their own procreative and gynecological health. The method teaches the woman to observe daily for her signs of fertility and infertility and record them on her chart each evening. The system can be used to achieve or avoid a pregnancy and monitor the woman's fertility. The Creighton System can be used with women who have regular or irregular cycles, breast feeding cycles, post birth control, annovulatory states and perimenopause. Once a woman learns the method she can use it all the way through to menopause.
The method is medically safe, proven reliable, comparatively inexpensive, natural and cooperative, a shared system between the spouses and it is standardized. There are FertilityCare Practitioners throughout the United States and in different parts of the world.
